The
Museum will contain some of the finest artifacts and photos from the
last 150 years, including a wonderful carving by Shang Wheeler of a
mythical brook trout “White Nose Pete” that lurked in the waters of
Upper Dam; a Rangeley boat and history of the skilled makers;
information on the Kennebago tribe of gentlemen anglers; artifacts
from the region’s history of trapping and hunting; mounts of the
region’s wildlife; a nice variety of bamboo fly rods, flies, reels,
etc.
